This Privacy Policy describes how Bright Byte Lab ("we", "us", or
"our") collects, uses, and discloses information from you when you use the Grammar Check - AI Keyboard mobile application (the "App").
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If
you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information, which may include Personal
Information:
User Identifiers & Authentication Data: When you create an account, we collect
a unique Firebase User ID. This ID allows you to access and save your data. We do not directly
collect or store your passwords (they are managed securely by Firebase).
AI Content Data (Prompts and Generations): The text prompts, inputs, and the
resulting AI-generated content (grammar corrections, paraphrased text, or translations) that you
submit or create within the App. This data is essential for the App's core functionality.
Voice / Microphone Data: If you use the voice input (Speech-to-Text) feature, the
App accesses your device's microphone to capture your spoken words and convert them to text. Audio
is processed locally on your device via the Android SpeechRecognizer and is not
recorded, stored, or transmitted to our servers. We only process the resulting text transcript.
Clipboard Data: If you use the paste feature within the App or the keyboard
extension, the App may temporarily access text stored in your device's clipboard solely to populate
the input field. We do not store, transmit, or share your clipboard contents.
Usage Data & Analytics: Information about how you access and use the App, such
as features used, date and time of visits, device type, operating system version, and crash reports.
This helps us improve stability and user experience.
Purchase & Subscription Data: Information related to your in-app purchases
(IAP) and subscription status. We receive anonymized purchase receipts and subscription status
identifiers, but we do not process or store your full credit card information.
3. Permissions We Request
The App may request the following device permissions. Each permission is used
strictly for the purpose stated:
RECORD_AUDIO (Microphone): Required for the voice-to-text (Speech-to-Text) feature.
Audio is processed by the Android SpeechRecognizer on-device and is not stored or uploaded.
INTERNET: Required to communicate with our backend services (Firebase, AI
providers) for grammar checking, paraphrasing, and translation features.
READ_CLIPBOARD (if applicable): Used to let you paste text from your clipboard
directly into the input field. Clipboard contents are never stored or transmitted.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To provide the core App functionality: grammar checking, paraphrasing, translation, and
text-to-speech.
To manage your account, track subscription access, and process payments (via third-party
processors).
To analyze usage and performance data to monitor and improve the App's quality, functionality, and
stability.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or security concerns.
To communicate with you about your account, updates, or changes to this policy.
To comply with applicable legal obligations.
5. Disclosure of Your Information (Third-Party Services)
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate and maintain the App. Your
information may be shared with these services only as necessary to perform their functions:
Firebase (Google): Used for secure user authentication, cloud database storage
(e.g., saving user history), Cloud Functions execution, and crash/performance analytics.
RevenueCat: Used to manage and validate your in-app purchases and subscription
entitlements. RevenueCat processes payment data on our behalf but does not store or access your full
payment details.
Generative AI Providers (e.g., Gemini API via Firebase AI Logic, ChatGPT via OpenAI
API): Your text prompts and requests are securely transmitted to the generative AI
service provider to process your request and generate content. Please refer to Google's privacy policy and OpenAI's privacy policy for details on how
they handle this data.
Google Play (Android SpeechRecognizer): Voice input is processed via Android's
built-in SpeechRecognizer, which may use Google's speech recognition infrastructure. Please refer to
Google's privacy policy for details.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or
in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties for
their marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention and Security
Security: We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information and strive
to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of
electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Data Minimization: We only collect data that is necessary to provide the App's
functionality and to improve our services.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your
personal data:
Access & Portability: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data
we hold about you.
Correction: You have the right to request that we correct any inaccurate personal
data we hold about you.
Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): You have the right to request the deletion of
your personal data. You may delete your account directly within the App, or contact us at the email

legal retention obligations.
Opt-Out of Analytics: You may opt out of analytics data collection through your
device settings or by contacting us.
